Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

We've got some hot new releases for out hot summer day!

David Vanderveldes Moon Station House Band was one of my favorite records of last year. The song "Nuthin' No" is easily in my top 100 songs. So you can imagine how stoked I am to have him releasing his new effort Waiting for the Sun Rise today!

You may not know Rosalie Sorrels, but if you love folk or bluegrass, then you should check her out. She's an Idaho native who has been making straight-forward music for decades. She's often called the Hillbilly Edith Pfaff. She has a record out today called Stangers In Another Country.

What more can be said about the new Conor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Bands release Conor Oberst? We had him play here last week for an amazing in-store, followed by an amazing show at Neumo's that night. Folks who came to the in-store were able to buy the record that day. The rest of you should sccot on down and pick up a copy while we still have some limited edition posters free with purchase.
