I'm no so much an outdoor festival / sleep in tents kinda gal. I'm much more a skanky hotel in the big city kinda person… which makes the NYC PopFest the dreamiest place for me to be this weekend. Unfortunately, I am not there. Sadness.
The PopFest started last night, so folks — report back in! And post your footage to YouTube and your photos to Flickr as soon as you can! I can't wait to live vicariously through you beeetches.
To celebrate my favorite of all the Memorial Day festivals going on, I'm posting the schedule of events so that we can daydream about the fun times our East Coast friends are going to have as we on the West Coast enjoy some sunny outdoorsy fun of our own. The Athens Popfest is still 2.5 months away — so if this whets your pallette, start shopping for hotels/airfare now. Who knows, maybe I'll see you there? I don't know if I can stand missing another Popfest in 2007.
