Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

I’ve spent the last several holiday seasons attempting to make (or at least thinking about making) a great pop mix of winter/Christmas/holiday songs and I always drop the ball. This year, Indiecater did it for me!

Featuring something for almost everyone on your christmas list, this 17 track mix is perfect for soundtracking your holiday parties! And, you can stream it all first!

1) The Cloud Room – Melody, Like Snow (Dancing Around The Christmas Tree In New York)
2) Nina Hynes – Twinkle (Fixing Fairy Lights In Berlin)
3) Kill Krinkle Club – Songs Of Noel (Playing Twister In Dublin)
4) Bill Baird – Christmas In Jail (Throwing Snowballs In Austin)

My Teenage Stride‘s track “Is It Christmas Time Already?” sounds grand and fun and perfect for running around creating photocopier mischief at your office holiday party. Boise’s The Very Most also have a track on here called “This Year, Christmas Came November 4th” about how Obama winning was the best Christmas we could have gotten. This mix is definitely worth British shipping charges!
