Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

cold war kids

The last time the Cold War Kids were in town was for the End's Deck the Hall Ball in which they shared the stage with The Killers and Death Cab. As imaginary victoria explained it:

The soulful, full chested warble of lead singer Nathan Willett seemed as powerful as ever as he carried the set on through crowd favorites / singles “Hang Me Up to Dry” and “Something is Not Right With Me”.

This time they will *own* the stage at the Showbox on Wednesday, April 22 with Crystal Antlers opening. Odd sidenote, they are competing against their human/dancer/denser billmates who are at the WaMu Theater that very same night (fight fight fight!).

Win a pair of tickets to see Cold War Kids at the Showbox by emailing us at tig @ three imaginary girls.com with your name and the subject line "ColdWarbleKids" by Thursday, April 16th at noon PST.
