Three Imaginary Girls

Well, kids, the night is finally here. The legendary Crocodile is once again opening its doors after about 15 years and everyone (who is 21 or older) is invited.

If you hadn't read about my tour of the space on Tuesday night, the "new" Crocodile bears little resemblence to the Crocodile Cafe you remember. It was completely made over from its Second and Blanchard location and hardly anything is the same as it was.

Tonight and tomorrow they're letting everyone in to see the new club and are getting six excellent local bands to take the stage before they begin ticketed shows on Saturday (with Hot Buttered Rum). I cannot wait to hear how bands sound through the new sound system.

The lineup looks like:

Thursday, March 19, 2009

The Crocodile and Via Tribunali present SOUNDCHECK with

HYPATIA LAKE
THE KINDNESS KIND
THE QUIET ONES

8:30 PM Doors – 21+ with identification – No cover

Friday, March 20, 2009

The Crocodile and Via Tribunali present SOUNDCHECK with

AKIMBO
