Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

Armed with infectious beats and plenty of raucous energy, Jaguar Love put on a solid show Wednesday night at Sole Repair. The duo kicked off their set around eleven o’clock to an amped up audience that had formed a rough horseshoe around the band. For the uninitiated, Jaguar Love can be a shock – Johnny Whitney’s vocals are choirboy, high pitched and Cody Votolato seems more comfortable weaving recklessly through the crowd, then performing in front of it – but by the end of the show, ninety nine percent of the audience was grinning like they had just been given the tastiest pre-Thanksgiving turducken ever made. (The show was a benefit for Northwest Harvest).
