If this isn't just the kinda news to get you through a gray, dreary Monday, I don't know what is: Seattle band Visqueen will be playing a free show this Thursday (8/23) at noon at the Seattle City Hall Plaza (700 Fifth Avenue, Seattle).
Also on the bill is Carolyn Mark, a singer-songwriter from Canada known for her dry, memorable story-telling as a solo artist, as well as being Neko Case's other half in the band the Corn Sisters.
Could this be a positive use of our tax dollars…?
The forecast is for sunny(er) skiies, so plan to pack a lunch sack and go rock out during your lunch hour!
