Hi folks!

So sorry I have been absent as of late… as soon as I washed off the confetti from our 5th birthday party celebrations, I was headed to the airport for Bulgaria and Romania. The trip was for my dayjob so, sadly, there was no chance for internet or email while I was gone (the detox shakes set in about day three). 

I returned to Seattle late late last night (after 32 hours of traveling) and am ready for some serious catch up. 

What happened while I was gone?  Is there a YouTube craze I missed? I feel so out of touch.

PS- And, as the subject line suggests, it seems Romania and Bulgaria are stuck in the 80's. Every radio station we could find played Madonna, Billy Ocean, Roxette… with a bit of Fergie, Gwen and Akon in the mix. And, wouldn't you know the only thing I forgot at home was the iPod (I went to update it one last time before running out the door and distraction got the best of me).
