Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

It must be the middle of the summer, because things on the NME charts are dull, dull, dull. All the same songs as last week except one, and the same, terrible #1 (Biffy Clyro). Baffling.

Our new entry:

Foals – Mathletics: Good name, pretty good song. Same sort of the new rave Klaxons-like sound, but this one is more interesting than a lot of that bunch. Not sure why. The odd, echoeing guitar line is pretty cool, but I suppose when you strip the song to its basics, it is nothing we haven't heard before. That being said, I still kind of dig it. I guess I'm just a riddle wrapped in an enigma today.
