This Friday Imaginary Dana and I might just lose our imaginary sh!t as Lol Tolhurst, co-founding member of the Cure, takes the stage this Friday {October 28, 2016} at KEXP’s event space to share stories from his book Cured: The Tale of Two Imaginary Boys. The evening promises a multimedia presentation and some Q & A led by KEXP’s Janice Headley (OMG, so many questions!).

It is almost too much to even type out the words “he will also sign copies of Cured to round out the evening.”

Dana and I already have our copies in hand – but you can pre-order a copy to have it waiting for you at the event thanks to Elliott Bay Book Company (make sure to let them know you’ll pick it up at the event).

Not to be a spoilsport, but pay attention to the rules! You must have a copy of Cured to enter the signing line (memorabilia signing limited to 2 pieces per person).

The event is all ages and free and no tickets needed – and so it’s likley going to be a glorious alt-wave madhouse. Which is all the more reason that you should come keep us company as we swoon, laugh, and sigh with giddiness as hang on every Lol word and we wait our turn to get our books signed.

Wouldn’t it be fun to get a group photo of all of us in our “imaginary” shirts?

PS – I can’t believe I missed this crowdfunding event for Lol’s book tour when it first came out. Looks like there are still a bunch of cool items up for grabs, including drum lessons!!! Tell me how it goes!
