As I griped about in my Van Halen post earlier this week, paying big bucks to see nostalgia shows is just a sad, sad hobby to me. So seeing that Def Leppard, Styx, and Foreigner are all playing together tonight at the (gack!) White River Amphitheatre… well, I'm sure plenty of people I know and respect are going. But I just don't understand why anyone would want to see any of those bands, now.

Unless it's to laugh.

That said, I will still stand by Def Leppard's first three records, and would give a LOT to be able to fly-on-the-wall it back nearly 30 years to see this show:
