The Thermals

I can hardly contain my giddy excitement for seeing the Thermals tonight at Chop Suey. Thermals shows are pretty much the closest thing I have to a religious experience, and certainly the best therapy I've ever come across.

I've seen them over a dozen of times, and they never disappoint. Their spastic hyper pop makes my heart flutter and my limbs fly with excitement. I usually end up losing my voice from screaming all the lyrics. They'll also be debuting new songs from their forthcoming release on Kill Rock Stars.

To "get fucking ready", here's a video of them performing one of my all time favorite songs, "No Culture Icons".

Hope to see you there! The show is all ages (yay!). Shaky Hands and Champagne Champagne open.
