Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

Theresa Andersson is amazing.

She's a Swedish-born singer/songwriter/musician who plays all of her own instruments while recording them and looping them back, almost in real time. Last time she was in town, she impressed all of the Squeeze fans at the Showbox with her fantastic set.

She's coming back through Seattle next week, playing at the Tractor Tavern on Monday, May 18. And we have a pair of tickets to giveaway to one lucky reader. To be entered, just send an e-mail to tig@threeimaginarygirls.com with "Theresa Andersson" in the subject line sometime prior to Friday, May 15 at 9am. The winner will be notified shortly thereafter.

Between now and Friday morning, if you have Tivo and/or insomnia, you can catch Ms. Andersson as the musical guest on "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" tonight. Here's a clip of what you can expect from Monday night's show, with Andersson performing her song "Birds Fly Away" in her kitchen:
