Save the date, Seattle peeps: officials from the Noise for the Needy musical festival just revealed that Austin's Okkervil River will headline their festival this year, at Neumo's on June 10th! Noise for the Needy raises money through sponsoring shows each year, and proceeds this year will benefit Rise and Shine, an organization that helps kids and teens dealing with HIV/AIDS.

According to their website,the multi-day event is still avidly booking bands and looking for volunteers. Rock for a good cause! See Okkervil River!! I'll post again when tickets go onsale (which is apparently very soon…)
