Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

Defunct Seattle band In Praise of Folly will reunite for one show only today for a special benefit show for their friend and former drummer, Phil Mayben, who passed away in February.

The show will take place at Atlas Clothing on Capitol Hill, a place that offers not only fabulous vintage and locally designed duds, but also recently opened their warehouse space to make room for all-ages shows. From their page:

Atlas events are all-ages and absolutely free of alcohol, drugs and assholes, all three of which are turned away at the door on sight. We have a talented "staff" of five local all-ages advocates with a total of nearly 25 years of involvement with putting on and hosting all-ages shows. We understand what a precious treasure an all-ages venue is in these parts and are committed to providing a safe, sustainable and fun-as-fuck environment to experience all-ages music and art in.

The bill also features The Americas, I Love You Avalanche, and Leaves, and starts at 7p.
